T20 World Cup: Pakistan defeats West Indies in warm up match

Pakistan has won its first warm-up match of the T20 World Cup against West Indies (PAK vs WI). Pakistan defeated West Indies by 7 wickets (with 27 balls remaining) easily chasing the 130 runs target set by West Indies.

West Indies had won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the first warm-up match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup between the two sides.

Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam showed an impressive performance with the bat as they scored 46 and 50, respectively, while Pakistan bowlers also managed to pick timely wickets and restricted West Indies to just 130 runs during the first innings of the warm-up match.

Mohammad Rizwan was sent packing early at 13 runs along with Shoaib Malik, who only managed to score 14 run while Mohammad Hafeez disappointed fans unable to score any runs, leaving his fans in utter disappointment.

Hasan Ali gave an exceptional bowling performance as he took two wickets (Fletcher and Pooran) while giving away just 21 runs from his four overs Meanwhile, Haris Rauf gave away 32 runs from his four overs but managed to pick up two wickets of Keiron Pollard and Chris Gayle.

Shaheen Afridi managed to take two wickets (Shimron Hetmyer and Lendl Simmons) as well against 41 runs from his four overs while left-arm bowler Imad Wasim took one wicket of Roston Chase, giving away just six runs from his three overs.
