In a tragic incident, unidentified attackers shot dead a young cricketer, identified as Qasim Shah, while another was injured in Waziristan on Friday.
According to the details, the unknown men opened fire on two cricketers in the Hakeem Khel area of Mir Ali Town.
The firing left a young cricketer, Qasim Shah, dead on the spot, while another player, whose identity has not been revealed, was injured in the attack.
The assailants fled the scene after the incident.
The body of the young cricketer was moved to Mir Ali Hospital along with the injured man.
The police says that motive behind the crime is unknown and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
