Meta did not issue a statement regarding the outage, but the service was restored within forty minutes.

Downdetector received thousands of complaints regarding the outage for these social media networks.

The graph for Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger showed an rise in number of complaints after the services went down.

Meanwhile, YouTube also suffered a minor outage globally that was resolved within minutes.
