More than 90+ screenshots and videos reportedly taken from Grand Theft Auto IV (aka GTA 6) gameplay have been leaked online and confirm earlier speculations about the game featuring a female protagonist named Lucia as well as highlight some important aspects of the game.
The leaked footage seems to be from an early version of GTA 6 and the game looks unfinished with several missing assets and features. However, the videos seem to show what would be one of the game’s first missions, the refreshed UI, placeholder for dialogues, which seem to be similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, and the quintessential ‘Star’ system.
In the leaked footage, we can see a second male protagonist exploring what appears to be Vice City, which means that the franchise is finally going back to one of its most popular locations. Furthermore, we get to see the swimming mechanics in GTA 6 as well as the inventory system.
However, a lot of things might change before the game makes its official debut as the footage seems to be from a very early version of the game with several unfinished elements or the leaked footage could just be high-quality fakes making their way around the internet.
