Huawei, which initially launched the Nova 12 series smartphones in China in December 2023, is now extending its reach to a global audience. The company has announced a “Nova 12 Series Product Launch” event scheduled for March 21st in Mexico, indicating its expansion plans.
Global Pre-Sales and Launch Teasers
Pre-sales for one of the models in the Nova 12 series, the Nova 12s, have already commenced in Mexico. Moreover, Huawei Malaysia’s website has hinted at the imminent launch of the Nova 12 series in the country. The lineup will consist of three models: Nova 12s, Nova 12 SE, and Nova 12i, as confirmed by the website.

Each model in the Nova 12 series offers distinct specifications tailored to various user preferences.
Huawei Nova 12s Specifications
The Huawei Nova 12s boasts a sleek design, measuring 161.29 mm tall and 74.96 mm wide, with a slim profile of 6.88 mm. It features a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, it offers ample 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device sports impressive camera capabilities, including a 50MP main rear camera and a 60MP front camera housed in a punch-hole cutout. Additionally, it packs a 4500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
Huawei Nova 12 SE Specifications
Slightly larger than the Nova 12s, the Huawei Nova 12 SE measures 162.39 mm in height and 75.47 mm in width. It features a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, it also offers 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Camera-wise, it includes a 108MP main rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera. Similar to the Nova 12s, it comes with a 4500mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging.
Huawei Nova 12i Specifications
The Nova 12i shares similarities with the Nova 12 SE in terms of processor and memory configuration. However, it features an IPS LCD display instead of OLED, with slightly lower camera specifications. Despite this, it offers a larger 5000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
