Itel has introduced its latest smartwatch Icon 3 that features impressive specs at a budget-friendly price point. Serving as the successor to the Icon 2, this wearable was teased in the Indian market earlier this week and has now been officially launched on March 22, 2024.
The Itel Icon 3 showcases a tall 2.01-inch AMOLED display with 500 nits of peak brightness and 2.5D curved glass, encased in a premium zinc alloy frame. Its design, notably with a rotating crown and function button on the right side, bears a resemblance to the Apple Watch Ultra, enhancing its appeal.
Equipped with an Always-on display and offering over 150 watch faces, the Icon 3 is packed with various health-related sensors. These include 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen mapping, and female menstrual cycle tracking. Notably, with a single Bluetooth chip, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth Calling via Bluetooth 5.1 standards.
Powering the Icon 3 is a 310mAh battery, providing up to 7 days of battery life on a single full charge, with Bluetooth Calling enabled. Additionally, it offers a battery standby of 15 days.
Itel has unveiled the Icon 3 in multiple color options, including Dark Chrome, Midnight Blue, and Shiny Gold. Pre-booking for the smartwatch will commence on March 24 and continue until 12 pm on March 29. Priced affordably at 1,699 INR, Itel is also offering a special pre-order discount of 100 INR for the first 500 customers, making it an enticing option for those seeking a feature-rich smartwatch without breaking the bank.
