OnePlus has announced the launch date of its second-gen smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 2, a return of the brand to the smartwatch market after a three-year break. The OnePlus Watch 2 is scheduled to globally at 10 am EST on February 26.
The smartwatch that resembles leaked renders comes with a rotating crown and a physical button housed in a protrusion on the right side. It has a stainless steel unibody with sapphire crystal protection, available in Black Steel and Radiant Steel colors. The OnePlus Watch 2 promises long battery life, up to 100 hours in smart mode with its thick casing.
The OnePlus President and COO Kinder Liu declared the company’s intention to move from the “Flagship Killer” to the “Ecosystem builder,” promising a better user experience with the Watch 2. Consumers are eagerly anticipating more information on the features and specifications of the OnePlus Watch 2, which will be revealed soon.
