Reddit, a popular social media platform, has gown down for users across the globe as the website and app are experiencing several errors.

According to Downdetector, the problem started around 4 p.m. ET on August 28, with Reddit’s homepage displaying the error message, “We encountered an error.” The error message further stated, “We were unable to load the content for this page.“

As per Reddit’s status page at https://www.redditstatus.com/, it states that users are experiencing degraded performance and their team is “currently investigating the issue.“
