Samsung is all set to launch the next-generation Galaxy A-series smartphones in the upcoming year. Leaked renders have already provided glimpses of the Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A15, and Galaxy A25 5G. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A55 has surfaced in CAD-based leaked renders, unveiling its design from various angles. This device is anticipated to serve as the successor to the Galaxy A54, which made its debut in March earlier this year.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 showcases a distinctive boxy form factor right from the start. Notably, a noticeable protrusion on the right frame accommodates the power and volume rocker buttons. This design approach appears to be a mainstream choice for upcoming Galaxy A phones, as observed in the Galaxy A35 and A15 leaks. Moving to the back panel, the device features three vertically stacked triple rear cameras.
Examining the bottom port of the Samsung Galaxy A55 reveals a USB-C port and a speaker grille, while the top edge houses a SIM card tray. Unfortunately, the renders do not disclose the presence of a 3.5mm jack. On the front, the smartphone boasts a center-aligned punch-hole cutout display spanning 6.5 inches, surrounded by thin bezels. In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy A55 is expected to measure 161.1 x 77.3 / 77.9 x 8.2mm, and the renders showcase the device in a sleek Black color option.
A recent report hinted that both the Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 will feature a metal unibody, replacing the plastic build of their predecessors, imparting a premium look. Previous leaks also suggest that the Galaxy A55 will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 processor with AMD GPU support. The 3C certification of the device has unveiled its compatibility with 25W fast charging. As anticipation builds, these leaks offer a promising preview of what Samsung has in store for its upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones.
