VPN Services Not Working in Pakistan

Users across Pakistan are facing issues connecting to Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Many popular VPNs like Cloudflare WARP (1.1.1.1), ProtonVPN, Hotspot Shield, ExpressVPN, and VPNIFY have stopped working.

The problem started a few hours ago and now affects people on all networks in the country.

Although there is no official statement yet, many believe that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) may have blocked or banned VPNs nationwide.

In September, PTA denied blocking VPNs but asked users to register their VPNs to avoid issues. We are waiting for more details from PTA.
