Meta-owned WhatsApp has reportedly gone down, and users are reporting a worldwide outage as they are unable to send or receive messages on the platform.

According to Downdetector, which monitors websites and other online services, there has been an uptick in the number of complaints from users regarding WhatsApp.

However, WhatsApp has not released an official statement regarding outage of its service around the globe.
