35 Pakistani Pilgrims Killed in Bus Accident in Iran’s Yazd

YAZD, IRAN: In a devastating incident, at least 35 Pakistani pilgrims lost their lives, and 18 others sustained injuries after a bus overturned at a checkpost in Iran’s Yazd, according to initial reports from DawnNews TV.

The tragic accident occurred due to a brake failure, leading to the bus overturning. The situation worsened when the bus subsequently caught fire, further complicating rescue efforts.

The bus was carrying a total of 53 passengers, most of whom hailed from Larkana, Ghotki, and other cities in Sindh, as reported by DawnNews TV. The injured have been transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, while authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

This tragic event has shocked communities back in Pakistan, where families are anxiously awaiting news about their loved ones.
