Arpit Palace Hotel Fire 17 killed in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: The Blazing fire erupted in early dawn hour at Arpit Palace Hotel in the Indian Capital New Delhi, Officials have confirmed 17 people killed and injured taken to the hospital.

A fire erupted in the early hours of Tuesday at Hotel Arpit Palace in a congested part of New Delhi,India.

Police and Fire brigade officials have confirmed death toll total of 17 while four are severally burnt admitted in a hospital.

The injured were taken to local hospitals, but their medical conditions were not immediately known.

Firefighters rescued 35 people from the hotel, after a hours-long operation took control over the fire.

The cause of fire is still unknown, the investigation is underway – Police officials
