Iraq has closed its airspace for regular flights for a while to make sure flying stays safe, said the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority.

The closure will take place from at 11:30 pm on Saturday and will continue until 05:30 am on Sunday. They might continue if they need to.

There were reports from Iraqi news that some drones from Iran flew through Iraqi airspace to get to Israel.

This comes after Iran said many times that they want to strike back at Israel. They’re angry about seven Iranians who died in a bombing on Iran’s consulate in Damascus, Syria on April 1.
