Israel raid on Gaza: Palestinian UN envoy

November 14 2012 – UNITED NATIONS: Nine people have been killed in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations said Wednesday, adding that the number of dead would likely rise.

“The number of Palestinians killed in Gaza so far is nine and the number is increasing,” the envoy, Riyad Mansour, told reporters. Palestinian sources in Gaza said seven had been killed, including a top Hamas military commander. (AFP)
