Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of rock and roll legend, Elvis Presley, and the wife of late singer, Michael Jackson, has passed away at the age of 54. According to the details, Presley had been rushed to a California hospital’s intensive care unit after suffering a cardiac arrest.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla Presley, her mother, said. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known,” she added while asking everyone to respect their privacy as the family tries to “deal with this profound loss.”
Meanwhile, Pricilla Presley’s publicist also confirmed Lisa Marie Presley’s death. “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” the statement read. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.” it added.
On Tuesday, Lisa Marie Presley and her mother were seen at the Golden Globe awards in Beverly Hills , where Austin Butler was awarded Best Actor in a drama for his turn as The King in Baz Luhrmann’s film, Elvis.

“Lisa baby girl, I’m so sorry. I’ll miss you but I know I’ll see you again. My love and heart goes out to Riley, Priscilla, Harper and Finley.” said actor John Travolta on Instagram.
“How heartbreaking. I hope she is at peace in her dad’s arms,” Tweeted singer LeAnn Rimes.
