Young Saudi actress Areej Abdullah was found dead in her apartment in Cairo, Egypt. According to a Gulf News report, Areej Abdullah was found in her bed by her maid, who arrived for work in the morning.
The maid immediately alerted the police about the matter and the preliminary investigations revealed that there was no suspicion of murder and the actress died of natural causes.
The forensic experts have determined the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism.
Investigations have revealed that Areej Abdullah had been in poor health of late and the actress had spent time in the hospital before being discharged last week after her condition improved.
The celebrity’s death was confirmed on Twitter by several Saudi entertainment industry.
Areej Abdullah was the daughter of late Saudi Singer Abdullah Muhammad.
The concerned authorities have issued a death certificate to allow the transport of deceased’s body to Saudi Arabia.
