Saudi Arabia imposes travel ban for 20 countries, including Pakistan

Saudi Arabia has imposed a travel ban for 20 countries, denying entry to the Kingdom starting 3rd February 2021 (Wednesday), with the exception of citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families, to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

According to the details released by the ministry, the suspension would be implemented from 9pm (local time) on Wednesday (3rd February 2021) and includes travelers who transited through these 20 countries during the last 14 days before their journey to the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has placed this travel ban on the recommendations of the health authorities to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Arabia travel ban includes the following countries:

  3. Lebanon
  4. Turkey
  5. United States
  6. Britain
  7. Germany
  8. France
  9. Italy
  10. Ireland
  11. Portugal
  12. Switzerland
  13. Sweden
  14. Brazil
  15. Argentina
  16. South Africa
  17. India
  18. Indonesia
  19. Pakistan
  20. Japan.
