42 killed in 6 different explosions in Sri Lanka

COLUMBO: Six different bomb blasts hit several high-end hotels and three churches in Sri Lanka.

The initial reports said around 80 people were injured, The update coming from Sri Lankan Police sources has confirmed 42 people dead and 160 are injured in six different explosions.

Three High-End hotels were also targeted in the capital city including one church.

According to the initial reports, Injured were shifted to the hospitals and Sri Lankan Security forces cordon off the areas.

Three explosions were reported from the five-star hotels, the Shangrila, the Cinnamon Grand and the Kingsbury, news agency PTI reported.
