UAE Reduces Working Hours For Private Sector During Ramadan 2023

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a reduction in the working hours for the private sector during the month of the Ramadan 2023.

According to the details, the working hours for private sector in the UAE have been reduced by two hours per day during the month of Ramadan 2023. It means that private sector employees will now be working for six hours a day instead of eighth during the holy month of Ramadan.

Furthermore, the ministry has asked private companies to apply flexible or remote work patterns within the limits of the daily working hours during the days of Ramadan.

Earlier, the UAE had announced office timings for all federal employees, who will work from 9.00 am to 2.30 pm from Monday to Thursday, while 12.00 pm will be the cutoff time on Friday to account for the Friday prayer.
