Former President, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has passed away at the age of 79 in a Dubai hospital after prolonged illness.

According to the details, the former president and military ruler was undergoing treatment for amyloidosis at the American Hospital Dubai.

Pervez Musharraf’s family has filed an application in the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai to shift his body to Pakistan.

A special flight will be made to Dubai on Monday to bring the former military ruler’s body back to Pakistan for burial.

Meanwhile, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai has issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) to transfer the body to Pakistan.
