Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan - 16 February 2023

The Federal Government has announced a massive increase in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 February 2023 to 28 February 2023. According to the notification, the Price of Petroleum Products, including Petrol, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), and Kerosene Oil has been increased for the remainder of the month and the next fortnight.

According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 22.20 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been jacked up by Rs. 17.20 per litre as well for the second half of February 2023. Likewise, the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has also been risen by Rs. 12.90 and Rs. 9.68 per litre, respectively.

This brings the new Petrol Price in Pakistan at Rs. 272.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will now be Rs. 280.00 per litre. Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil will be Rs. 202.73 per litre and Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has reached Rs. 196.68 per litre.

Petrol Prices From 16 February 2023

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will become effective from 16 February 2023 for the for the remainder of the month.

“Government of Pakistan has decided to revise the existing prices of petroleum products.” said the notification. “Increase in price is due to Pak Rupees devaluation applicable for the calculation of current pricing period.” it added.

In the last review, the Federal Government had raised the Price of Petrol and Diesel in Pakistan by Rs. 35 per litre. However, there was still a shortage of Petrol across major cities, which resulted in long queues and wait times at Petrol Stations.
