Fact Check: Actress Saeeda Imtiaz Death Rumors Are Untrue

Pakistan actress, Saeeda Imtiaz, death rumors have been making rounds on social media on Tuesday after her Instagram account shared the tragic news. However, the actress is alive and the news has been confirmed as fake.

Saeeda Imtiaz has confirmed that she is doing fine and that her social media handles have been hacked. This was also confirmed by her friend and fellow actor, Saim Ali, on his Instagram account.

“Allhumdullilah, my friend is perfectly fine and it was a fake news.” he wrote and shared a photo with Saeeda Imtiaz.

Speaking to a local media outlet, her manager and legal advisor said that action would be taken against those who hacked the social media accounts and spread these rumors.

He said that Saeeda Imtiaz was currently at her home in Lahore and was doing well, adding that she will release a video message soon regarding the issue.

Earlier today, her Instagram account shared a story stating, “With a heavy, we are saddened to inform you that Saeeda Imtiaz passed away this morning as she was found dead in her room.”
