The Punjab Education Department ha announced new winter timings for all public and private schools across Lahore.
According to the notification, the new boys’ school timings will be 8:30 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while timing on Friday will be 8:30 am to 12:15 pm all through winter.
Similarly, the new girls’ school timings for winter season will be from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while Friday timings will be from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm for the winter season.
As for double shift schools, the first shift will commence from 7:45 am and end at 12:15 pm without any break from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while the second shift will start from 12:30 pm and conclude at 5:00 pm.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the schools will start from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm for the second shift.
It should be noted that new winter timings for schools in Lahore have come into effect from October 16 and will be observed until April 14, 2024.
