YouTuber Journalist Asad Toor Arrested, Summoned by FIA

YouTuber and journalist Asad Toor has been reportedly arrested in Rawalpindi over an anti-judiciary campaign on social media platforms. Furthermore, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned Asad Toor and Imran Riaz Khan on February 23, 2024, before the Cybercrime Wing.

Journalist Imran Riaz, who was arrested from his residence in Lahore last night, has been summoned to the FIA office in Lahore, while Asad Toor is mandated to attend at the FIA headquarters in Islamabad. This action by the FIA is a response to their alleged involvement in activities considered harmful to the integrity and independence of the judiciary.

Both Imran Riaz and Asad Toor, notable figures on YouTube and social media platforms, have received official notices, indicating the gravity with which the authorities regard the situation.
