Honor Unveils Magic 6 Lite With Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 1.5K 6.78-inch Display

Following several public teases, the Honor Magic 6 Lite has now been officially unveiled, presenting compelling specifications at an affordable price point. Serving as a successor to the Honor Magic 5 Lite, this new smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, and a robust 5300 mAh battery. Its introduction in Italy comes just days after the Honor X9b launch in the European market, with expectations for availability in other European nations in the coming days.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G smartphone is presented in three color options: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sunrise Orange. Pricing details remain undisclosed; however, the company offers a 50-euro coupon upon signing up on their website. The smartphone is set to hit the market starting December 27, 2023.

In the midrange segment, the device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels, a screen-to-body ratio of 92.8%, and a pixel density of 429. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth gaming experience and a peak brightness of 1200 nits, ensuring usability even in direct sunlight. Additionally, it incorporates 1920Hz PWM Dimming to protect users’ eyes in low-light or dark environments.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and Adreno 710 GPU, the smartphone offers 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM.

The camera setup includes a triple-rear unit comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera.
