The initiative includes the distribution of 3,500 plots of land and 2,300 ready-to-move-in houses, valued at Dh5.5 billion, among Dubai’s citizens. The housing plots cover 40 million square feet, and eligible citizens can take ownership starting from February. This distribution encompasses 2,700 plots in Latifa City and 800 plots in the Al Yalayis 5 area, while the 2,300 new houses are spread across Al Khawaneej 2, Al Aweer, Wadi Al Amardi, and Hatta.

Emphasizing the importance of family as the cornerstone of the nation, Sheikh Mohammed expressed the ultimate goal of enhancing citizens’ lives for a brighter future. This housing initiative is part of the broader Dubai Social Agenda 33, launched to guide community development over the next decade with a focus on family.

The agenda, with a budget of Dh208 billion, aims to address various aspects of citizens’ lives, including housing, living standards, identity, values, social cohesion, healthcare, and skills development. The overarching objective is to double the number of citizen families within the decade, providing them with world-class residential areas. These projects align with Sheikh Mohammed’s vision for holistic development and improved quality of life for Dubai’s residents.
