CM Punjab to inaugurate Beijing Underpass in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate Beijing Underpass today in Lahore .

The underpass has been constructed on the Canal Bank Road. It is city’s longest and deepest underpass . The underpass was previously known as Chubacha Underpass , but renamed as Beijing Underpass to recognize China’s support in development projects in Punjab .

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) had proposed three names for the underpass and Shehbaz Sharif finalized the label, Beijing Underpass .
