Online app based Rider Robbed Passenger in Karachi

KARACHI: The Karachi Police arrests Smartphone app based Careem Bike service, Rider for looting a passenger.

Mohammad Tahir, booked a Careem Bike ride on November 26th, 2018 at around 1:15 am. Rider came at the end of the street upon confirmation of the bike number, Tahir sat on the bike after a while Rider pulled out the gun and managed to snatch his mobile phone and wallet.

Mohammad Tahir went to Ferozabad Police Station to register FIR against biker, Police managed to trace and arrest him.

According to Rider, there are three more people involved in such activities and they might be part of the Online booking app-based ride service.

Police is searching for other three gang members.
