Govt should consider to reduce tax & allow two phones: Zulfi

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfikar Bukhari raised concerned by Overseas Pakistani over the incumbent Government’s new mobile tax policy to reduce mobile phone’s levy and allow the returning Pakistan nationals to bring at least two handsets. 

Mr.Bukhari said “Responding to overseas Pakistanis huge feedback over the regulation of mobile phones, I have requested minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azhar to lower the tax on Mobile Phones and grant permission to overseas Pakistanis to bring at least two duty-free phones.”

“I am confident to get a positive response from the revenue ministry.” – Zulfi Bukhari added.

Overseas Pakistanis raised concerned over the tax levy over mobile phones and restricting to bring only one mobile phone tax-free in Pakistan demanded to reduce tax and grant permission to allow atleast two mobile phones.
