7.4 Magnitude earthquake struck near New Zealand

NEW ZEALAND: A powerful earthquake 7.4 magnitudes has stuck 100 kilometers off L’Esperance rock, North of New Zealand on Sunday Morning.

Earthquake magnitude of 7.2 triggers a small tsunami wave advisory for multiple coasts within 300 kilometers radius.

The Pacific Tsunami warning center has issued a warning for the coasts of New Zealand, America Samoa, Cook Island, and Figi.

However, the waves are not expected to be higher than 0.3 meters above the tide level.

Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Toga, Vanuatu have been warned as well, in addition to Wallis and Futuna
