Schools to re-open on January 1 in Sindh after Winter Vacations

Some sources were saying that the winter vacations have been extended by the Sindh government but the government has confirmed that all schools to re-open on January 1 and dismissed all reports regarding any extension of winter holidays.

The secretary of School Education and Literacy Department, Ahsan Ali said that no change was made to the previously announced schedule for winter vacations in Sindh and confirmed that all schools to re-open in the province on January 1, 2020 as planned.

All reports regarding extension of winter vacations until January 7 because of the cold wave were dismissed and said that they were not true.

However, schools winter holidays in Punjab have been extended and reports say that the Department for Schools Education has extended the winter holidays till January 7th instead of the January 1st date that was earlier decided due to the increase in cold in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
