The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League fifth edition (HBL PSL 2020) will kick off tomorrow on 20th February at Karachi National Stadium at around 6.45PM.
This is the first time that the Pakistan Super League tournament is being held in the country and it is one of the biggest tournaments to take place in Pakistan since the Asia Cup back in 2008.
The opening ceremony of PSL 2020 is scheduled to begin at 6.45PM tomorrow although PSL matches have a record of missing their starting time.

The opening ceremony of the PSL 5 is estimated to cost Rs. 210 million according to Cricket Pakistan and as many as 350 artists are said to perform at the opening ceremony according to a press release by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Some of the artist performing tomorrow at the National Stadium, Karachi will include Abrar-ul-Haq, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Aima Baig, Fareed Ayaz, Abu Mohammad, Sanam Marvi, Sajjad Ali and the rock band Soch.
The toss for the match will be held at 8.30PM for the first match that is scheduled to start at 9.00PM between the defending champions Quetta Gladiators and two time former winners Islamabad United.
