I confess I am hopeless MNA of Karachi: Aamir Liaquat

KARACHI: Famous Television Anchor and Member of National Assembly (MNA) from Karachi Aamir Liaquat Hussain says PM Khan has rejected my resignation, I am unable to help the people of my constituency.

Aamir Liaquat has been protesting against K-Electric unannounced load shedding in Karachi ever since it started outside the KE head office in DHA Phase 4.

Earlier today, Aamir Liaquat on twitter said ““After a long meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan my four-page resignation was rejected. I opened my heart told the prime minister everything. The prime minister hailed my efforts for raising my voice for Karachi’s issues and said thinking about the public was the role of an elected leader,”

“I confess that I am a helpless MNA of Karachi. I am unable to provide electricity to the people of my city. I cannot see the people of my city suffer. I will ask the prime minister for time and submit my resignation,” – Aamir Liaquat

Former MQM leader who gave up his political career in a live show 11th Hour with Waseem Badami after being unable to defend Anti Pakistan speech by MQM founder Altaf Hussain in 2016, returns back to politics in 2018 after getting ticket from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).

Aamir Liaquat Hussain restarted his politics with PTI for the people of Jamshed Quarters who been residing there since decades and government wanted to demolish those quarters.

It is very hard for people to understand Mr.Hussain due to his nature of profession is media and acting, at times considered very serious and at times not.

PTI won in majority from Karachi, replacing the traditional MQM badge from the almost all areas but failed to deliver back to the people.

Karachi is facing multiple issues which need to be addressed, Electricity issue, Water Issue, Public Transport, Waste Management, Law and Order, Medical and Health facilities and Health are some of the countless issues.
