India, Pakistan teams arrive in Ahmedabad for second T20 match

Ahmedabad: The cricket teams of India and Pakistan arrived here for the second and final Twenty20 international, to be played on Friday.

Pakistan beat India by five wickets on Tuesday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match T20 series.

dhoniairport-b-27-12-12India would hope that their batsmen fire in unison this time around after they floundered a solid opening partnership to reach a below par score of 133-9 in Bangalore. India pegged Pakistan back with three quick wickets through debutante Bhuvneshwar Kumar but other bowlers could not support him and Captain Mohammad Hafeez and middle-order batsman Shoaib Malik stitched a match-winning stand of 106 runs for the fourth-wicket.

Meanwhile, sources said that Rs 300 tickets were being sold for as high as Rs 2,500 for the Ahmedabad match by the touts.

Pakistan is touring India for the first time after cricketing ties between both the countries were suspended following the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.

They will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) after the T20 series.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
