Suzuki Alto Recalled Alto Once Again Over Same Issue

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has recalled the Suzuki Alto, one of the country’s best selling vehicles, for a third time over the same problem, the car’s faulty fuel filler neck. In a Tweet, the company asked customers to get take their vehicles to the nearest Suzuki dealership to get the fuel filler neck replaced on their Suzuki Alto (2019, 2020, and 2021 models).

According to the company, the Fuel Filler Neck of Suzuki Alto may be prone to catching rust over time that may end up getting perforated as a result. Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has instructed its customers to take their vehicles to the nearest Suzuki dealership have have the faulty part replaced after necessary inspection.

What is a Fuel Filler Neck?

The Fuel Filler Neck is the first part of the tube that carries the petrol to the tank while refilling. This part is made of metal and rusting may cause perforation as well as rust being mixed into the petrol and cause damage to the engine.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) initially recalled the Suzuki Alto back in June 2022 over the same reason with the campaign starting in Karachi. However, the company has now expanded the service campaign nationwide and urges customers to get their Suzuki Alto inspected from the nearest dealership.
