The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to extend summer vacations for public and private schools till 31st August 2022 due to the ongoing intense heatwave in the province.
However, the notification issued in this regard states that extended summer vacations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will be adjusted in a manner that it does not disturb the academic session with undertaking of extra classes after reopening of educational instutions.
It is pertinent to mention that extended summer vacations only apply to students attending schools up to Class 10 for all government and private educational institutions. Meanwhile, the school’s administrative department shall remain open to ensure that the admission process of students is not affected.
