Private Schools to Remain Closed Across Pakistan Tomorrow

Private schools across Pakistan will remain closed tomorrow as All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) has announced a school holiday on Wednesday (10 May 2023) in light of the protests that have broken out after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, was arrested from the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The decision to announce the nationwide school holiday has been taken in light of the ’emergency conditions’ prevailing in the country after the Imran Khan’s arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

APPSF President, Kashif Mirza, has announced that resumption of regular classes would be made after discussions tomorrow (Wednesday). However, matriculation exams will be held as per schedule with Biology exam taking place at 9:00 am and the English exam at 2:30 pm.

However, there will be no classes and all private schools in Pakistan will remain closed until a decision is taken tomorrow regarding the country’s political situation.

O Level & A Level Exams Cancelled Tomorrow

Meanwhile, the British Council Pakistan has announced that Cambridge International, Pearson, University of London, and IELTs exams that were scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, May 10) have been cancelled.
