The Punjab Government has announced a school holiday in Lahore on 28 September 2021 (Tuesday) for all public and private institutions across the city on account of the Urs of Hazrat Data Gunj Baksh.
The announcement regarding the school holiday in Lahore was made by Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas on Twitter. “Schools in Lahore will remain closed tomorrow, September 28, 2021, for the annual urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Gunj Baksh.” said the Education Minister while sharing a notification issued by the School Education Department.

Furthermore, Dr Murad Raas clarified that the school holiday is only for Lahore.
