November is only half-way done and there are a lot of Netflix shows slated to come out before the month ends. Here’s a heads-up on five upcoming films and dramas hitting Netflix before November ends and these are bound to be worth your while.
The Crown, Season 6
The highly acclaimed show, a winner of 21 Emmy Awards, is making its Netflix exit with the final season on November 16. Brace yourself for a deep dive into the politics of the Royal family, unfolding the narrative of Queen Elizabeth II and Britain’s royal lineage in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The concluding season will also shed light on the timeline surrounding Princess Diana’s tragic demise in a car crash that claimed the lives of her boyfriend Fayed Dodi and driver Henri Paul.
Squid Game: The Challenge
Set to premiere on November 22, this Netflix show draws inspiration from the 2021 k-drama sensation Squid Game. However, in this rendition, losing won’t be a life-or-death situation. The reality series, streaming until December 6, features 456 contestants vying for a whopping prize of $4.56 million. Netflix describes the competition as a series of games, both inspired by the original show and introducing unexpected twists, where players’ strategies, alliances, and character will be scrutinized as competitors get eliminated.
Family Switch
Netflix is bringing a Christmas comedy, “Family Switch,” featuring Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms. In this quirky tale, the couple, Jess and Bill Walker, parents of three, find themselves in a supernatural body swap on the most pivotal day of their lives. Get ready for a dose of holiday hilarity streaming soon.
Railway Men
Making its OTT debut on Netflix, Yash Raj Films presents a limited web-series titled “The Railway Men,” directed by Shiv Rawail. Set for release on November 18, this four-episode series delves into the real-life events surrounding the 1984 Bhopal gas leak tragedy, paying homage to the ‘unsung heroes’ of The Indian Railways.
Believer 2
The sequel to the Korean movie “Believer” starring Han Hyo-Joo is scheduled to stream on Netflix on November 22. The storyline follows Detective Won-Ho (Cho Jin-Woong), on a quest to find a missing person named Rak (Oh Seung-Hoon), all the while pursuing a teacher who happens to be the head of a drug cartel.
