As the coronavirus pandemic gets worse throughout the world everyone should do their part and observe precautionary measures especially while using ATM Machines to try and curb the spread of COVID-19 as thousands of people use these within a day.

Here are some precautionary measures you can take while using an ATM machine:
1. Avoid direct contact
Avoid direct contact with ATM Machines and make sure you wear disposable gloves before hand. These disposable plastic gloves are cheap enough that you can simply throw them away after a single use.
2. Wear a mask before entering the ATM cabin
Make sure you wear a mask before entering the ATM cabin as reports say that the coronavirus is capable of remaining in the air for quite some time.
3. Keep your ATM Card ready
Make sure you take out your ATM card and have it ready before entering or using the ATM Machine so you don’t have to reach into your pocket and your wallet after touching the ATM Machine.
4. Keep Hand Sanitizer with you
Be sure to keep a hand sanitizer with you so you can sanitize your hands after using the ATM machine. Even if you’re wearing gloves, you can never be too careful when it comes to your health.
5. Keep distance from others
There might be some other people waiting in queue to use the ATM machine so make sure you keep distance and observe social distancing.
6. Withdraw enough cash
Make sure you withdraw enough cash to last a few days so you don’t have to use the ATM Machine more frequently.
However, it is better to avoid cash altogether so try and use online banking for payments instead of opting for cash. Many retail outlets now accept online payments through different banking apps.
