PTCL Resolves Submarine Cable Issue

PTCL has announced progress in addressing the AAE-1 submarine cable issue that caused internet disruptions.

To mitigate the impact, the company added additional bandwidth, resolving most of the slowness. However, customers may still experience reduced speeds on Meta-related platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) during peak hours.

PTCL and PTA are working together to ensure a complete resolution in the coming days.

The company assures users of its commitment to restoring normal services as soon as possible.
