Same uberGO, now 20% cheaper in Karachi

Yes, you heard that right. Just in time for the weekend, the price of an uberGO trip is going down by 20% on average in Karachi. Starting today, minimum fares are just Rs. 120 – meaning that uberGO could be even cheaper than your next cup of chai.

At Uber we’re always looking for ways to deliver lower prices to riders to make Uber an everyday transportation option. From Thursday, 6th April 2017, uberGO fares will be up to 20% cheaper, making it even more affordable to get around Lahore and Karachi.

These new fares let you Uber further, for less – whether it’s a short trip around your neighbourhood in Defence, heading to Clifton Beach for a walk, a quick get together with your friends on M. M. Alam road or getting home safe after a night out – we’re providing you a safe, reliable and an even more affordable way of moving around Lahore and Karachi.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
