Rabi ul Awal Moon Not Sighted, Eid Milad un Nabi on October 9

The Rabi ul Awal moon was not sighted and Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated on 9 October 2022 (Sunday), the moon sighting committee announced on Monday.

The development comes after Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, chaired a meeting of the zonal committee at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony at Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat in Islamabad.

The third month of the Islamic Calendar will commence from Wednesday, announced the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad at the meeting today.
