NEW DELHI: Indian officials turn down Pakistan Foreign Minister’s invitation to attend
Indian Punjab Chief Minister also refused to attend the ceremony saying ” There’s a not a single day when Indian Soliders are not killed and wounded on Line of Control (LoC). Secondly, Pakistani Intelligence agency ‘ISI’ has started its nefarious activities within my state”.

Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj also had turned down invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi to attend groundbreaking ceremony of Kartarpur border crossing.
It appears Indian Government officials are not happy and not willing to ease the tension between India and Pakistan. However, the Sikh community is happy with the decision and welcomes it.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to attend Kartarpur Corridor opening ceremony on 28th November 2018.
