Islamabad authorities have exempted bakeries and confectionary stores from closing early along with rest of the markets by extending their business timings.
According to a notification issued by the District Magistrate Office, bakeries and confectionary stores shall remain open till 11:30pm.
However, bakeries that are part of departmental or other stores shall continue to observe 9:00pm closure timings for all businesses.
It is pertinent to mention that Islamabad authorities had revised business timings and instructed markets to close at 9:00pm in order to conserve energy due to increasing amount of loadshedding in the city.
