No Air Show in Islamabad on 14th August Independence day

Last year on 14th August 2017 Independence Day,  Pakistan Air Force held an Air Show in Islamabad “F-9 Park” and In Karachi Seaview beach but this year there will be no AirShow for public on 14th August.

Usually PAF carries out practice session on daily basis before the Air Show which is not happening this year so far and at least 7 to 9 days practice sessions required however skies of Islamabad are empty this year which clears the doubt that there will be no Air Show hosted this year.

It is unclear why Pakistan Air Force cancelled, however poor weather is the possibility as monsoon season started late this year and expecting rain on 14th August Independence day.

President Mamnoon Hussain’s sun bath won’t be possible either so it’s better to cancel it.

Here’s couple of videos from last year Air Show 14th August 2017, Pakistan Independence day

Definitely Islamabadians will miss it :(

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
