There is a video trending on social media that shows a live worms crawling in food being served to international passengers at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and it has prompted strict action from the authorities.
According to the details, the contaminated food with worms and insects was being served at the International Departure Logistic Lounge of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and showed a complete disregard to implementation of proper food hygiene.

The CAA Director has taken notice of the incident and ordered an immediate inquiry into the matter, while the airport manager has also been tasked into investigating the incident.
According to the details, a high-level committee has been formed that will include an officer, a doctor of the CAA, and an official of the Border Health Services to complete the investigation within 48 hours.
