Meet Ibtasam – The Hero Who Saved Imran Khan’s Life

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporter, Ibtasam, is being termed as a hero after saving the life of party chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan from an assassination attempt.

According to the details, Ibtasam was standing near PTI container when he saw the attacker attempting to open fire at Imran Khan and grabbed his arm, causing him to miss his shot, and assisted in his capture.

Ibtasam also issued a statement after the shooting incident during PTI’s Long March.

According to Ibtasam, he was standing just 10-12 feet from Imran Khan’s shooter and made his way to the attacker as soon he saw him load the pistol. However, the shooter was able to fire a shot before he reached him and grabbed his arm to make him miss his target.

The shooter tried to flee the scene but was captured by Ibtasam with the help of police officials and other PTI workers.

Imran Khan was immediately shifted to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Lahore after he was wounded in today’s incident at PTI’s Haqeeqi Azadi March in Gujranwala.

According to the details, Former Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan, headed a team of four doctors, who operated on the PTI Chairman, Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has condemned the incident of firing on Imran Khan and ordered an immediate report from Interior Ministry.

“I condemn the incident of firing on PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the strongest words.” he tweeted. “I have directed Interior Minister for an immediate report on the incident.”

Imran Khan’s shooter also issued a statement after his arrest and revealed why he targeted the PTI Chairman and Former Prime Minister.
