Faisalabad: 17 injured in accidents

FAISALABAD: Seventeen people, including three women, sustained injuries in accidents during the last 12 hours.

A spokesman for the traffic police department told here on Wednesday that a speeding motorcycle skidded near Chak No 239-Gb and three children, Ismaeel, Allah Rakha and Faisal, received injuries.

In another accident, two motorcycles collided with each other near Mollah Eid Gah. As a result, Shehzad and Suleman were injured.

A speeding bus turned turtle near Chak No 61-GB, injuring Usman, Bashir, Aamir, Yasmeen Bibi, Amjad and Gulzaib.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Muhammad and his wife Rukhsana Bibi were injured when a speeding rickshaw hit their motorcycle on Ismaeel Road. Muhammad Boota, Zahida Parveen, Umar and Zaheer Shehzad also received injuries in an accident.
